Should You Invest In Lending Club: A Statistical Analysis - Seeking Alpha

Here is an interesting article about the internet Lending Club.  You may be one of many people who have gotten mail from them since they are seeking borrowers.  Their material sounds interesting.  However, their process may not work for everyone.

Suncor Energy Inc. (USA) (SU): Record Oil Sands Production Should Propel Suncor To $40 By Year-End - Seeking Alpha

This is an excellent article about Suncor, a great Canadian oil producer.  I believe SU has considerably more upside versus downside.  I plan to buy Suncor for my own portfolio on Monday.

World Economic Outlook Database - Changes to the Database

World Economic Outlook Database - Changes to the Database

This is a link to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).  Since the economies of the world are so dependent on each other, it is prudent to keep abreast of IMF news in order to make wise investments. Economic statistics matter tremendously when it comes to stock market direction.  For example, during the 2008-2009 economic crisis, world exports declined dramatically.  The Baltic Dry Index as well as the IMF data would have shown the export crisis.  This would have been one of several reasons to be in cash or government bonds during the stock market downturn.

TICC Capital Corp. (TICC): TICC Capital For A Sustainable 12% Yield And Upside Potential - Seeking Alpha

TICC Capital Corp. (TICC): TICC Capital For A Sustainable 12% Yield And Upside Potential - Seeking Alpha

Here is a good article about a business development company which has an annual dividend of around 12% paid in quarterly installments.  I personally prefer Prospect Capital (PSEC) which also pays a 12% dividend. However, any company that pays a dependable dividend of more than 10% is great to own, especially if you are retired.  If a person has $150,000 in his 401K that can be divided into several dividend stocks paying 10-12% annually, that person will essentially double his or her income assuming an average social security check of $1500 per month in retirement.

EXCELLON RESOURCES (EXLLF.PK): Excellon Resources - Mexico's Highest Grade Silver Mine - Seeking Alpha

EXCELLON RESOURCES (EXLLF.PK): Excellon Resources - Mexico's Highest Grade Silver Mine - Seeking Alpha

This is a great article on Excellon Resources, a high-grade silver miner in Mexico.  They can produce silver at $14 per ounce on a long term basis which is a lot lower than the current silver price of $22 per ounce.  The article was very informative about the company's infrastructure and its competitors like Great Panther and Endevour Silver.  The only problem I see is with the low trading volume, but this may improve in the future.

2 Small Miners To Consider Here [SPDR Gold Trust (ETF), iShares Silver Trust (ETF), Hecla Mining Company, Endeavour Silver Corp. (CAN)] - Seeking Alpha

This is an excellent article about two silver miners, and they are great buys currently.  They can both produce silver for less than $20 an ounce, and this is something other silver miners cannot do.  These stocks could both double in price over the next 18 months.

Realty Income Corp (O): The Wonderful Wizard Of O - Seeking Alpha

Realty Income Corp (O): The Wonderful Wizard Of O - Seeking Alpha

Here is a great article on Realty Income (O), the monthly dividend REIT company.  The company is a tremendous buy now that the price has declined due to fears about rising interest rates.  The current 5.5% dividend will be hard to beat elsewhere.  Also, when the stock market comes to its senses and sees the great value in Realty Income, the price of O could easily rise and be a 30% capital gain as well.
