Ultimately, we should not be funding any new programs. We need to be able to live under current conditions so that things don't get worse.

If you are bitten, the website I have referenced advises using alcohol to reduce itching and swelling. Since serious diseases can be carried by mosquitoes, you should see a doctor immediately if something more than the normal itching occurs such as fever or diarrhea.
