This is an excellent article about three biotech index ETFs.  The three stocks have averaged 37% year-to-date. Biotech stocks like GILD and REGN have been hot, and the ETFs that track this sector have been doing well, too.  The author also points out that all three stocks have a low expense ratio, only a fraction of 1%, and this means the price gain of these ETFs is virtually the same as your gain.  Drug stocks could remain stock market favorites for a long time, especially with an aging baby-boomer generation.
