The author also correctly states, though, that market returns will be low at the present high valuations. Therefore, you will probably make more money in the next few years in good dividend stocks rather than the general stock market. I own Prospect Capital (PSEC) with an 11%+ dividend and SDIV which pays a 7%+ dividend.
